1957 Scootacar - MkI and MkII in England photos
In England, between 1957 and 1965 produced two series Scootacar - MkI and MkII. The first version was so "stretched" vertically, it seemed that she would not ride, and ride on the road.
With five-foot height, as well as the fact that it is often painted in red, people called clipper "phone booth". Officially, she was called Scootacar, which clearly indicated the hybrid scooter (scooter) and vehicle (car). This relationship aggravated driving a motorcycle type.
In 1959 the British released a fully revised second version of the machine, and two years later added them to its more powerful engine. However, the modification is not productive in demand: amateurs to ride in a telephone booth at a speed of 100 km / h for some reason it turned out a little.
